Adele and Lil Wayne to perform at MTV VMA ceremony

The list of artists set to perform at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards ceremony was revealed. It features Lil Wayne, who already promised to play several songs from his new album Tha Carter IV. "Looking forward to performing on the show, and having Tha Carter IV drop the same week", claimed the rapper.

Adele – whose music video for Rolling In The Deep was mentioned in seven categories – will take part in the event too. It will be the debut performance at MTV VMA for British singer.

Chris Brown will also go onstage during ceremony.

The list of artists set to attend the event includes Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West and Pitbull. However, it is unknown who of them will perform.

The ceremony itself is set to take place on in Los Angeles on August 28.
