ABBA have surpassed Coldplay’s record

ABBA’s compilation album Gold – Greatest Hits returned to the number one spot in the UK, becoming the oldest album ever to become number one disk. Previous record was set by Coldplay.

Album was released in 1992 and has reached first place five times. The last occasion happened in 1999. Album was sold 26 million copys all over the world. It is the biggest seller of all ABBA's disks, and one of the Top 40 best-selling albums of all time worldwide.
