A movie based on Michael Jackson’s rehearsal footage to be released

Sony Pictures and promoters of Michael Jackson's comeback shows, AEG Live, have reached an agreement about the creation of a movie based on 80 hours of rehearsal footage for Michael Jackson's London residency. Sony has already announced that it was going to pay over £30 million to promoters AEG, the owners of the footage.

The movie will also feature several videos that were created to be broadcasted during Michael Jackson’s concerts in London. One of these movies is an alternative version of Thriller presented in 3D format.

It was also announced that the movie will be produced by Kenny Ortega, director of High School Musical movie.
