A movie about Whitney Houston's life to be filmed

Whitney Houston's biopic is set to be filmed in Hollywood, reports British press. According to Daily Mail newspaper, main role may be given to Rihanna, as well as to the Jennifer Hudson or American Idol singer Jordin Sparks.

Tabloid also writes that Willow Smith, 11-year-old daughter of famous actor Will Smith, will play Whitney Houston as a child.

A play based on Whitney Houston's songs is set to be premiered in London this autumn. It will be a rework of The Bodyguard film – which featured Houston playing main role – into a musical.

The movie was telling the story of love between famous singer and her bodyguard. Although it received negative critics' reviews, it occupied the second place in the list of world's highest-grossing films of 1992.
