Apr 04, 2009
30 Seconds To Mars have signed a new deal with EMI Music label to release their upcoming album. It will hit the stores in September. The band is currently working on the record in the studio in Los Angeles together with producer Flood, who previously collaborated with U2, Nine Inch Nails and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Flood claimed that 30 Seconds To Mars were keen to take their music in a new direction. «These guys wanted to move into a different place and that's always a big challenge», said he.

30 Seconds To Mars had legal disputes with EMI Music for the past several months, but, according to the band, they managed to settle them down.

The band’s previous album A Beautiful Life hit the stores in 2005.
