2012 Olympics concerts to use pre-recorded tracks

Apr 04, 2012
Two gigs in London scheduled to mark 2012 Olympic Games will use pre-recorded backing tracks. It means that singers will be performing live while musicians will be only miming their part.

Statement by Organising Committee says: "There are elements that will be pre-recorded, but much of the show will be live".

Concerts will take place on July 27 and August 12. They are set to feature The Rolling Stones, Adele, Coldplay, The Who and others.
