Justin Timberlake

Biography

Justin Randall Timberlake was born in Memphis - this city has already given King of Rock'n'Roll Elvis Presley to the world. When Justin was a kid, his parents divorced. His mother took the child with her to Millington, where she married to a banker. Justin grew up there. He started singing rather early, performing at the young talents competition Star Search, catching the eye of the televisionists. From 1993 to 1995 Justin took part in the programme The Mickey Mouse Club. Working there, the teenager got acquainted to Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and his future band mate J. C. Chasez. At the end of the show in 1995, Justin called Chasez to join him in a newly formed all mate teenage band n'Sync, managed by the notorious Lou Perlman. After disbanding of n'Sync it became known that during the work Pearlman took the major part of the profits, leaving only crumbs to the talented teenagers. He had to face the accusation of financial fraud.

The n'Sync band started successfully in Germany in 1996, making a forceful appearance in the USA in 1998. The listeners, who got possessed by the sweet and sincere pop-melodies, wiped the No Strings Attached album, which saw light in 2000, off the shelves. However, after the bright hit Girlfriend from the Celebrity disc - which was released in 2001 - the command decided to quit for an indefinite period. Timberlake proved to be the most prominent person in n'Sync - this easy-going and cheerful person was also considered as the cutest teenager in the band. So the issue that Justin Timberlake decided to start a solo career cheered the mourning fans of n'Sync. The romance with the teen-pop princess Britney Spears ignited the interest to the activity of this handsome youth. Nevertheless, the pair parted just before Justin's debut attempt Justified was released. It is not hard to guess that the passionate composition Cry Me A River was devoted to the former girlfriend.

In the summer of 2003, Timberlake made a brilliant support tour Justified with the former The Mickey Mouse Club colleague Christina Aguilera. At the same time, he made friends with the The Black Eyed Peas, making an appearance on its mega-hit Where Is The Love? The next star duet turned into a major scandal. While performing with Janet Jackson, Timberlake tore a larger piece of clothes than it was planned in the beginning, showing Janet's breast for a second. The singer made multiple sincere apologizes for the episode, though his fame of a heart-eater became permanent after the incident. This glory was ignited later with his relations to Cameron Diaz, a famous film star. In spite of the mass media indignation, the artist personally took two prizes from the Grammy ceremony of 2004. Unfortunately, Timberlake had to stop for some time his singing career due to the throat surgery in 2005. Actively collaborating with Timbaland, the artist got down to the record of his second work FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was issued in September 2006. Provocatively sexual and winding single SexyBack showed Justin as a "bad guy" and regular heart-breaker, which enlarged his fan base. In 2010 Justin released a very interesting remix album Essential Mixes. The record included interpretations of compositions, presented in studio works Justified and Future Sex/Love Sounds. It is worth mentioning that these songs got absolutely new sound: such talented musicians as Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold and many others took part in creation of Essential Mixes.
